Quick and fun to knit! Mukluk Slippers are knitted tightly with bulky yarn for longer wear. These are addictive! Most knitters make multiple pairs. Great for gifts, or knit some to keep for guests in the winter.
Sizes:
-Small - foot length 9 inches, fits women’s shoe sizes 6 through 8, men’s shoe sizes 5 through 7.
-Medium - foot length 10 inches, fits women’s shoe sizes 8½ through 10, men’s shoe sizes 7½ through 9.
-Large - foot length 11 inches, fits women’s shoe sizes 11 through 13, men’s shoe sizes 10 through 12.
-X-large - foot length 12 inches, men’s shoe sizes 13 to 14.
Materials:
-Bulky weight yarn (or 2 strands of worsted weight - be sure to double the yardage):
- Lo top- approx. 140 (155, 200, 225)yds.
- Hi top- approx. 325 (350, 395, 425)yds.
-Double point needles size US 7 (4.5 mm)
-Single point or 24 inch circular needles size US 7 (4.5 mm)
Gauge: in garter stitch, 16 sts equal 4 inches.
